About us

Elite Dance Studios teachers and principal dancers encourage all students to enjoy and appreciate a variety of dance styles, in a relaxed atmosphere. Originally known as Street Style Dance Company when founded in September 2006, by 2009 Street Elite Senior Dance Company was born. By August 2010, Elite Dance Studios was founded, with 50 dancers, split into the 2 separate companies. From September 2011, while Studio lessons will be open to all, entry into the Junior Company will be through audition only, leading to progression into the Senior Company. Principal dancers and vice-principals are nominated for both companies every year, and play a vital part in the running of the companies.

With several key people in the studios, and every dancer playing a major part in the support and development, Elite Dance Studios will continue to grow over the following years, with many exciting events planned to spread over the next 3 years.

I am the founder and director of Elite Dance Studios, and am here to help each dancer get the most out of their experience within the companies and studios. I am currently part of the Olympic opening ceremonies team of performers.

I have trained or performed, or will be, in the following places:

· Adcote School, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010

And have been part of 3 dance companies before starting my own. These are Collette Tyler’s (North Yorkshire), Junction 9 Youth Dance (Birmingham) and L.C.A Dance Company (Adcote School), as well as being part of the dance presentation team at The Marches School, Oswestry in 2000 – 2001.

I am a teacher with the I.D.T.A, as well as holding my Level 3 BTEC National in performing arts (Dance) and will shortly be a Registered Instructor with the CDET (Council for Dance Education and Training).

Miss Kellyanne Crooks

An avid member of the Junior Company since late 2008, Kellyanne has proceeded to follow in Jordan’s footsteps. Regularly attending extra training sessions with the senior dancers, Kellyanne is preparing to join Jordan as a fully-fledged senior principal in 2012 when she moves into the senior dance company.

Kellyanne is at present a Silver Medal standard student, with a view to progressing to gold standard within the following year. Very quick and eager to learn steps, routines and skills that are above and beyond what is expected; Kellyanne is a credit to the Junior company and leads by example.

Kellyanne’s credits include:
